Nordic Skiers: Stop Skiing with Sloppy Feet!
Stop skiing with sloppy feet! 🛑⛷️
If your foot is sliding inside your boot when you go to push with that leg drive, you are leaking massive amounts of power. Truly resilient nordic skiing starts from the ground up—literally.
Welcome to Part 1 of our Stronger Skier Series. Today, we’re tackling foot stability and how to actually utilize it pre-season.
The fix? Stop pushing from a sloppy, collapsed foot. Try these simple drills to find your balance right now:
Close your eyes to eliminate visual distractions and tune into your feet.
Build awareness of the foot's connection to the floor.
Engage the outside edge of the foot for lateral stability.
Feel the inside part of the foot as you drive and push off.
Save this video to build your base, and drop a ⛷️ in the comments if you’re ready for Part 2!
